Enjoyed and restored oneself while exploring the hallmark exhibition: Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, as well as a series of drop-in mindfulness workshops.

Attendees listened and relaxed to this mindfulness and wellbeing concert co-facilitated by Atlanta-based author and Black Buddhist Southern Queen, Lama Rod Owens, as well as Grammy-winning violinist Melissa White. This Well-Being Concert was presented in collaboration with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute.

Positively Creative: The Arts and Youth Mental Health

Co-hosted by the Carter Center’s Mental Health Program and Emory’s Carlos Museum, this innovative program grounded participants in the science related to the arts and youth mental health, showed how creating art could enhance the well-being of young people impacted by racism, and demonstrated the positive impact of making art through an interactive collage activity.
